Hot Movie Couples
Kidman and Hopkins, Kidman and Law, Sharon and Dennis, Catherine and Clooney: get ready to sink your teeth into "Extra’s" fall lineup of Hollywood’s hottest onscreen couples.
You can count on up-and-coming Mark Ruffalo to make the cut with Meg Ryan in her new movie "In the Cut." Box-office expert Paul Dergarabedian says this fall is filled with lots of first-time romantic pairings.
In "The Human Stain," sexy Nicole Kidman plays a janitor who sweeps Anthony Hopkins off his feet in a steamy affair. Dergarabedian says, "The old guard actor or actress teamed up with a younger actor who is up and coming can make for great on-screen chemistry. Hopkins and Kidman together will be an interesting pair. Really it’s more about the acting and if you can pull that off and make it work on screen."
In the Civil War drama, "Cold Mountain," the down under darling also has no trouble pulling it off with dashing Brit, Jude Law. Dergarabedian says, "I think what's interesting for audiences is to see two stars together that they haven't seen before."
Film fans can look for lots of that this fall as Sharon Stone had the "Basic Instinct" to team up with Meg's ex, Dennis Quaid in the new thriller "Cold Creek Manor."
And it looks like Catherine Zeta-Jones gets the last laugh with George Clooney in "Intolerable Cruelty."
When it comes to on-screen chemistry, these box office biggies definitely have the magic formula.
