Chantal Kreviazuk

Chantal Kreviazuk is a Canadian born singer songwriter whose "organic" style of music has us wondering what it all means. She says, "I think my style, or what I’m trying to perfect, is something very natural."

Her current CD, "What If It All Means Something," is a critical hit and the single, "In This Life," is filling radio airwaves. Chantal says, "The song is about unconditional love and how there are certain people that, as much as you love them and help them or fix them, you cannot. You just have to sit back and know in your heart that you love them and you support them and hope that they feel that love."

Chantal has lent her voice to the soundtracks for "Armageddon" and "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days," plus performed the theme song to NBC’s family drama "Providence." But writing her own music has more meaning to her. She says, "When I can get behind the piano and pour my heart and my problems and my crap and my soul out into that and be real, that works for me."

And what works is her determination to remain Chantal Kreviazuk. She says, "I think the key is not to change with the times or try to capture what's happened so much as try to capture yourself."
