'The O.C.'
"The O.C." is a much-anticipated saga of sex and scandal in a wealthy waterfront community where nothing is quite what it seems.
Peter Gallagher says, "People have money, people have vacations, they have beautiful homes, and I think much to the audience's great relief and delight, there's no perfection anywhere."
Even in Peter’s character's own home where the sudden arrival of an unexpected guest sets off fireworks all over this fictional Orange County, California community.
There is already buzz that "The O.C." will make an overnight star of Benjamin McKenzie, a young Russell Crowe look-alike making his acting debut.
Beautiful Mischa Barton, another young actor also said to be
bound for stardom, warns that the bawdy antics of "The
O.C.'s" spoiled rich kids could raise some viewer eyebrows.
She says, "I mean if you take a bunch of wealthy kids and
put them in a situation where they're allowed to run wild, you
are going to get kind of interesting things happen."
Just the kind of things that make for a hit TV show.
