'Survivor' Controversy
When CBS unveiled the new "Survivors" last week, it appeared from the looks of the buff and beautiful castaways that skin would be in this season. One "Survivor" who immediately caught everybody's eye was Brian Heidik, the tiger-tattooed used car salesman from Quartz Hill, California.
But about as fast as you can say, "bumper-to-bumper extended warranty," "Extra" has learned that in addition to making deals, Brian has been making movies; make that adult movies.
Before Brian tested his survival skills on the beach of Tarutao, Thailand, he appeared in TV shows including "Days of Our Lives" and "Melrose Place." But this 34-year-old married father has also starred in soft-core porn movies including "Passion Cove," "Sinful Obsession," and "The Virgins of Sherwood Forest."
Of course this isn't the first time a "Survivor" has bared all on camera. Richard Hatch strolled the beach in the buff and Jerri Manthey posed for Playboy. But "Survivor 3" winner Ethan Zohn says: "Survivors" beware, your past can come back to haunt you. Zohn says, "Luckily I don't have anything that funky in my background, but I’ve heard rumors that other people have had some funky … done a little acting or something along those lines. But I’d imagine it would be a pretty big deal."
CBS was aware of Brian’s porno past and defends the decision to cast him, saying he definitely brings something to "Survivor."
