Pam and Tommy Lee

Lips are sealed around the courthouse when it comes to the Tommy Lee - Pamela Anderson child custody case. Tommy Lee braved the gaggle of press, while Pamela Anderson slipped in and out through the court's loading dock to keep the media at bay.

The proceedings were also off limits to the press, but "Extra" has learned that Dr. Stan Katz, a psychologist, testified, sources say, about the parenting and public life of each party.

The judge said there were substantial issues that might affect the children. And when "Extra" snuck a peek through the window in the courtroom door, we could see the recent Pamela Anderson interview with Larry King being screened for the judge.

Todd Gold, west coast senior editor for People magazine, says there's a good reason Pam and Tommy can't stop sniping. He says, "They have never been able to make up their minds whether they love each other or hate each other. Now, they still can't make up there minds over who should take care of the kids."
