Aaron Eckhart
He's the scholarly stranger whose charms sweep
leading lady Gwyneth Paltrow off her feet in the romantic
epic, "Possession." And Hollywood is taking the
cue and falling in love with the ruggedly handsome leading
man Aaron Eckhart.
There is lots of action between Eckhart and Paltrow; the love scenes are the most erotic Gwyneth has ever done. Before 34-year-old Eckhart wooed Gwyneth, Aaron heated-up the screen with an assortment of A-list actresses from Cameron Diaz and Renee Zelwegger to Julia Roberts.
Though he's recently been linked with Paltrow, Aaron says he's mostly been unlucky in love. The problem, he says, is time and a lack of commitment. It’s a common dilemma in his life. He says, "I can't commit to buy a television."
Now, "Possession" is Aaron's fourth movie with director Neil LaBute. Aaron says, "He was one of my teachers in college. He let me be in one of his plays and that was it."
But that wasn't it. There was the critically acclaimed and controversial "In the Company of Men," "Your Friends & Neighbors," and "Nurse Betty." LaBute says, "I can't find material I think he couldn't do, so I’ve always wanted Aaron to be a part of what I do."
And for the California native who will next share the screen with Hilary Swank this November in the action-thriller, "The Core," Aaron hopes audiences are possessed by his performances.
