Joy Behar
"Extra" got a lesson of the "joy" of cooking
with "The View's" Joy Behar. The talk show host stepped into
the kitchen to whip up a heart healthy meal. It's all part
of her personal campaign to promote heart disease awareness
for the National Cardiovascular Research Initiative.
Behar tells "Extra," "Heart disease runs in my family. My mother had her first heart attack when she was 50."
And last year joy was even diagnosed with high cholesterol. She says, "You can't just be shoveling in all the pork rinds anymore. Those days are over."
But with medication, exercise and a healthy diet, Joy is ready to enjoy life.
