Naomi Watts plays Kate Hudson’s big sister in the new movie, "Le Divorce." Naomi says playing the tough loving sister on screen was easy. In fact, these two have fast become great gal pals, adding to Naomi's already female heavy support squad.
Naomi says, "I've got a network of really strong relationships with women; incredible sister-type girlfriends."
That includes best friend and fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman. The two met on a commercial audition nearly a decade ago and have been best friends ever since.
Also supporting Naomi is her boyfriend from down under, heartthrob Heath Ledger. The couple is still going strong, but she tells "Extra" thankfully the media isn't as focused on their love life as they used to be. She says, "Things got a little more visible once I started dating Heath and that was interesting for a while, but that's kind of fallen off now."
Put the media back on high alert because Naomi is breaking sequel news about the movie that put her on the American map: "The Ring." She says, "It's all in the works. I don't know when, but there is a script being written."
So from a French fling to the sequel to "The Ring," the face that is lighting up Hollywood is Naomi Watts.
