'Boy Meets Boy'
It's approaching G-day for television - "G" as in "gay" as a bold programming experiment gets set to pop the big question: Is America ready for "Boy Meets Boy?"
Even the star of TV’s first gay dating show admits it could shock many viewers. James says, "But that may be also what will draw them."
Tuesday night, "Boy Meets Boy" makes its debut on Bravo and TV's latest bachelor begins his search for Mr. Right with a houseful of guys vying for his affection, and some help from his best friend Andra.
But more important to James than his decision is the verdict of the American public. He says, "My message to the audience, I think, is that gay men are like everyone else."
And the host of "Boy Meets Boy," "Extra's" Dani Behr, hopes this new show will shatter negative stereotypes. She says, "It kind of takes all your preconceived notions of what is gay, or what isn't, and kind of jumbles it around and throws it out the window."
