Tobey Maguire

With "Seabiscuit" breaking out of the gates on July 25th, "Extra" sat down with Tobey Maguire for the inside track on saddling up as a legend on a legend. Tobey says, "There isn't another feeling like it that I’ve experienced."

But getting onto a 1,200-pound thoroughbred took serious guts. Tobey had to get buff for "Spider-Man" and then slim down for "Seabiscuit." He says, "It was a lot of work, but you get a goal in mind and you start working at it."

Tobey shed more than 20 pounds for the role. Now Tobey is on a heavier diet, bulking back up again for "Spider-Man 2." Tobey says, "I'm juiced up. It's a great script. It's like secondhand now."

So is staying humble in Hollywood. Tobey likes to keep a low profile. He says, "I love my work, so I just do my thing and fly under the radar."
