'America's Next Top Model'
The queens of the catwalk better beware: America has a new top model.
With an announcement from Tyra Banks and a hug from runner-up Shannon, 20-year-old Adrianne Curry went from Illinois waitress to a million dollar modeling contract on Tuesday night's finale of "America's Next Top Model."
"Extra" caught up with the supermodel-to-be Wednesday in New York. She says it was a nightmare going head-to-head with Shannon, the wholesome blonde virgin. Adrianne says, "If there could be a split screen, Shannon would have grown wings and a tail and would have popped out from in back me and the flames of hell would engulf me.
Adrianne says cranky judge Janice Dickinson's lack of confidence didn't even phase her. Adrianne says, "My feelings weren't hurt at all. Maybe I might get older and get all pissed and mad and I might end up like that."
But first, Adrianne gets the grand prize: possible contract with Revlon and a spread in Marie Claire magazine. Editor and judge Beau Quillian thinks Adrianne has a long career ahead of her.
But what is Adrianne's secret wish? She says, "My dream is to be in Victoria’s Secret."
And as she's already proven, model dreams do come true.
