NBC's Fall Lineup

NBC is banking on a couple of new shows to make it big this fall, and "Extra" caught up with some of the stars as they are ready to hit the airwaves.

Alicia Silverstone is heading to the small screen, starring alongside Ryan O’Neal in "Mismatch," a romantic drama about a divorce attorney with a knack for matchmaking. Alicia considers herself lucky to be working with "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, who's executive producing this show. She says, "He always knows what is going on. I mean every show he's done has had a huge impact on us."

James Caan is hoping to make an impact with his new show "Las Vegas," a behind-the-scenes look at the world of hi-tech casino security.

And perhaps the most anticipated of NBC's new shows is "Coupling," sort of a "Sex and the City" meets "Friends."

NBC thinks you'll get used to watching it, putting "Coupling" in a coveted Thursday slot. But despite that, stars Rena Sofer and Jay Harrington are a little tired of hearing the f-word, as in can they replace "Friends." Jay says, "I made the analogy before; it's like when Jordan retired, are we going to find a new Jordan? No, there's always just one and everybody is going to be great on their own merit."

You can judge for yourself starting this fall.
