New York Loft

When Samantha got it on with her tycoon boss on "Sex and the City," this penthouse palace was part of his seduction strategy. But if you think the pool part is impressive, wait till you see the rest of this real life New York loft.

Apart from that teak-surrounded pool, it's also got its own lawn, a 14-century Belgian fireplace, five bedrooms and two elevators. And it's up for sale with an unbelievably hefty price tag: $27 million.

Stephen McRae, of Sotheby’s International showed "Extra" around the loft, which is where some of Denise Richards' new movie "Empire" was shot. It's also the spot where Jerry Seinfeld got married and where Tommy Hilfiger threw a lingerie launch party.

A triplex converted from a commercial space, the apartment covers 8,000 square feet - about four times the size of an average New York loft. And that's not counting the 4,000 square feet of roof decks. Stephen says, "Most loft buildings have no outdoor space at all because they were never built as residential space. But here, you have an incredible amount of outdoor space."

There’s enough space even for Samantha’s pal Carrie and all her shoes.
