Vin Diesel
The countdown is officially on. In just 12 days, Vin Diesel will explode on screen in "XXX," playing a tough-talking secret agent. He’s a sort of James Bond for the millennium.
Off camera, "Extra" found Diesel to be a charming guy who is not jaded by fame. What you may not know about Vin is that this new heartthrob doesn't have a steady girlfriend. But he'll have plenty more female fans when audiences get a load of his steamy scene with European starlet Asia Argento. She says, "He's the best kisser in the world and I’m not saying it just to flatter him."
Vin is not embarrassed by the fact he did a lot of his own stunts in the movie. He says, "I was told to stop what I was doing many a time."
Director Rob Cohen is Vin's biggest fan. When he was approached about making "XXX," he agreed, but on one condition. Cohen says, "I wouldn't make it without Vin Diesel. They could make it, but I wouldn't do it."
Huge praise for the 35-year old hunk, who just six years ago was a full-time telemarketer, directing his own movie on the side. Steven Spielberg saw it and cast him in "Saving Private Ryan."
Now, Diesel's hard work is paying off in the form of a $10 million payday and superstardom just around the corner.
