Richard Chamberlain
He's best known as the passionate priest who fell in love in "The Thorn Birds." Richard Chamberlain also has a passion for building and selling homes in paradise.
From patio to pool, floor to ceiling, Coldwell Banker's Tracy Pfleuger-Bryan says the actor himself designed this stunning hideaway in the hills of Honolulu, Hawaii.
She says, "Even though we're up here in this wonderful mountain retreat, the beach is just ten minutes away."
Chamberlain recently put this gorgeous property up for sale. Tracy explains, "He's looking forward to designing his next home here in Hawaii."
Every single room in the 6,500 square foot home has an incredible view of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. There are four bedrooms including the master suite with its magnificent marble bathroom. The large living room has high vaulted ceilings, a loft and a big balcony overlooking one of the most beautiful backyards on all of the islands.
The two lusciously landscaped acres of land and Chamberlain's custom crafted swimming pool are the perfect place for a party. Plus, there are there other buildings on the property: one is a cottage, one is a wonderful private office, and the third is his private art studio.
This private paradise just sold for close to its $3.9 million asking price.
