Zeta-Jones Suffered Death Threats
It's a real-life drama for Catherine Zeta-Jones
as the Oscar-winning actress prepares for a face-to-face court
confrontation with the woman who's been allegedly stalking
and threatening her. In the meantime, "Extra" has
learned chilling new details about the letters and phone calls
alleged to be from 32-year-old Dawnette Knight.
The hateful letters include several death threats
against the actress and an invitation to Catherine's own funeral.
One reportedly read, "We will kill Catherine Zeta-Jones
soon," targeting her on the set as she was filming the
movie "The Terminal." Another letter reportedly read,
"She will be taken care of ASAP... She wouldn't want us
to come to the set."
In another shocker, one of the letters reportedly referring
to Catherine's most recent pregnancy in 2003 and stated, "The
baby Catherine is carrying is not Michael's. It's George Clooney's."
Knight's lawyer, Richard Herman, spoke to "Celebrity Justice."
Herman says he's not convinced his client wrote all the letters,
some of which were sent directly to Michael's father, actor
Kirk Douglas, and his wife Anne. What Herman says he is convinced
of is that his client, "Sent Michael Douglas a note saying
she would show him a good time."
Catherine and Michael are expected to take the stand on Wednesday,
to face the woman who allegedly has been making their lives
a living hell.
