Unauthorized Bio Slams Hillary
It's the book Hillary Clinton does not want you to read. Written by Christopher Andersen, the author of "The Day Diana Died" and "The Day John Died," the book is entitled "American Evita: Hillary Clinton's Path to Power."
Sara Nelson writes about the book in Tuesday's New York Post, revealing the most surprising claims. "It's a very harsh look at her and her husband and their rise to power," Nelson told us. "They said that she swears like a sailor. The author said she talks in a way that would make Howard Stern blush."
Quoting inside sources, Andersen reports that when Bill Clinton finally confessed to Hillary about his affair with Monica Lewinsky, the First Lady slapped him across the face. "In the book, she calls him a stupid, stupid, stupid -- something that we can't say," Nelson revealed.
Andersen compares Hillary to Argentina's legendary Eva "Evita" Perón, and claims the Clintons have a political pact they call "The Plan," which reportedly required Hillary to put off her political dreams until Bill had realized his, and in exchange, the power would always be shared no matter who held office.
"Anything that gets in the way of that plan has to be eviscerated," Nelson told us.
As one book reviewer wrote: "It's impossible to distinguish the reporting from the rumors in Andersen's book." But what is clear is this politically-charged summer just keeps getting hotter. For more on Andersen's new book, watch Tuesday's edition of "Extra."
