'Mismatch'
Alicia Silverstone is a divorce lawyer with a heart who becomes a matchmaker. Throw in film legend Ryan O’Neal as her father and you've got the scene for the new NBC dramedy, "Mismatch."
After her early years on the silver screen and a recent Broadway run in "The Graduate." Silverstone says she turned to TV because this lovelorn lawyer is a rare role. She says, "There is so much room for passion and intelligence and excitement and insanity."
Ryan O'Neal says there was only one reason he took the role. He says, "I think it was Alicia Silverstone that intrigued me the most. I just think she is wonderful."
And together, NBC is betting that Alicia and Ryan have wonderful chemistry and turn "Mismatch" into this fall's must-see TV.
