'Boarding House: North Shore'
Surf, sun, and sex: Seven strangers live in a Hawaiian beach house to find out what happens when world-class surfers have cameras following their every gnarly move.
"Extra" dropped in on "Boarding House: North Shore," the latest reality brainchild of "Survivor's" Mark Burnett. He says, "You don’t have to be a surfer to enjoy it, like you don’t have to be a detective to enjoy 'CSI.'"
Sunny, Veronica, Danny, Chelsea, Damien, Myles, and Holly eat drink and sleep big waves in a surfer's dream house. Myles says, "I think it's basically going to kill a lot of stereotypes of what people perceive surfers to be."
Holly adds, "It is about partying, it is about hanging out at the beach, but it's also a business. There's a lot more that goes into it than just the partying lifestyle."
But who will be hanging ten together inside the banzai beach getaway? Holly says, "All of them have girlfriends or are married except Danny and Danny’s cute. But I don't think it's going to happen between us."
With hookups and wipeouts, "Boarding House: North Shore"
is hoping to ride that big reality ratings wave.
