Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon should feel great. The "Legally Blonde 2" star has a new film and new baby on the way. But the blockbuster roles with $15-million paychecks haven't always been easy to come by.
Reese says, "There would be fantastic directors who would say, ‘I'd really love to work with you, but so and so means more at the box office.’"
About returning to the screen as Elle Woods, Reese says, "It was sort of a challenge to try and do a film that was more commercial, but still had my sensibility that films should have messages… We sort of connected to the fact that a lot of people feel very disconnected from government."
Disconnecting from the celebrity lifestyle is Reese's lifestyle. She says, "Ryan and I both really value our family life. It is very private and we enjoy being parents… I just want to keep my kid as innocent as long as she can be. My real life begins when I get home."
Despite sexy parts and her part as half of one of Hollywood’s sexiest couples, symbolizing sex isn't this blonde's idea of fun. Reese says, "I'm not really crazy about the sexy stuff. I feel like those things, they fade. If you make someone laugh, that's just sort of a lifelong gift."
