'Road to Perdition'

No more Mr. Nice Guy for Tom Hanks. It's Tom like you've never seen him before in his new movie "Road to Perdition." There is not a box of chocolates to be found in this film. Instead Forrest Gump turns gangster bad guy.

Tom says, "Villains are loved, villains are adored by the public, they love bad guys."

Set in 1930's Chicago, " Road to Perdition " takes Tom, and co-stars Paul Newman and Jude Law, down a dark road to murder and the mafia. Tom says, "I would have been a fool not to instantaneously jump at the chance to be with those people."

It’s a risk playing a bad guy, but that could pay off in a good way. Hanks plays a hired hit man, that some are saying has him on a familiar road to Oscar.
