A new recording career has Russell Crowe's girlfriend
walking the yellow brick road to fame. But is she about to
walk down the aisle? We've got the answer, in an Extra exclusive.
Danielle Spencer's got a hot new pop CD, and the Oscar-winning gladiator calls her his lucky charm. In fact, the Aussie actress and singer knows a side of tough-guy Russell few have ever seen. She's his girlfriend! And she's talking for the first time about their life and love, only on Extra.
Danielle reveals, "He was gentle, very caring and made the whole process very pleasurable." While those attributes could describe Russell, the boyfriend,
Danielle is talking about Russell, the director of her latest music video. She says, "He's done a very good job, so I think he's got a future there."
The Aussie lovebirds met twelve years ago, during filming of "The Crossing." Now, fast forward to 2001, and to the Hollywood kiss seen round the world when Crowe locked lips with Danielle at the Golden Globes. That same week, Crowe confessed on Larry King he'd been struck by cupid's arrow.
Since she lives in Sydney, and Russell spends a lot of time in LA, Danielle admits it's tough maintaining a long distance love affair. "We just had a little holiday together a couple of weeks ago. So, yeah, it's just a case of having to try to get your schedules to match and juggling."
But, does the "Beautiful Mind" star have marriage on his mind? Russell says, "That's a very hard question."
Now, as Danielle's music heads to America, life couldn't be better for the down under diva.
