Couples News: Rebounds
The twists of romance have been on full display
in Hollywood these past few days. "Extra" sorts
through the tangles to bring you the truth.
Did Britney Spears have another instant wedding? That was the question that had Los Angeles buzzing and the paparazzi out in full force at a Beverly Hills mansion, Monday. But though the pop princess announced her engagement to dancer Kevin Federline this week, she said the event at the mansion was only a photo shoot.
Later, Kevin, Britney, her sister Jamie Lynn, and her mother were all seen shopping at the trendy L.A. boutique, Fred Segal. The word on her wedding is it won't be until November.
Meanwhile, it may have been a tough spring for John Stamos, as the actor split from his stunning wife Rebecca Romijn-Stamos after six years of marriage, but his summer looks like it's shaping up to be a much better season. A bearded John was all smiles this past weekend, as he posed for photographers in Atlantic City. The handsome sitcom star was spotted getting friendly with model Kim Smith while attending the Maxim Fantasy Island event.
And another recent bachelor, Kiefer Sutherland,
was spotted Down Under having lunch -- and sharing a sizzling
kiss -- with a mystery brunette. The recently divorced "24"
star is in New Zealand shooting the movie "River Queen."
And it looks like Mario Lopez is also moving on since his recent separation from actress Ali Landry after a marriage that lasted only a few weeks. Mario and a pretty gal pal were spotted in Malibu on Saturday for an Animal Planet event.
Finally, Katie Couric talked to us to respond
to the biggest romantic rumor making the rounds: "That
I'm sleeping with Tom Cruise -- it's not true,
America. It's simply not true."
