Star Sightings: Newsmakers
Even at the beginning of the week, the stars were making the scene, and "Extra" was there.
There was breaking news in Hollywood, Monday,
as the legendary "Anchorman," Ron Burgundy, was on
the scene at the premiere of the new comedy that bears his name.
Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd
and the rest of newshounds arrived in style in a newsvan.
"We were singing 'Afternoon Delight' in the news van on
the way over here," Applegate revealed (check out the clips
on our "Anchorman" movie page to see why that song
is so appropriate).
Famous fans like Gwen Stefani and Jack
Black also stopped by for the comedy. And Will Ferrell
brought his wife, Vivica. But where was their baby boy, Magnus?
"We dropped him off at the In and Out," Ferrell joked.
"He's a tough little guy; he's already 4 feet tall."
"Anchorman" breaks into theaters July 9th.
Meanwhile, sultry Halle Berry makes news of
a different kind on the pages of next month's Harper's Bazaar.
In addition to the skin she shows in a sizzling photo spread,
the newly single Berry reveals she loves shopping for sex toys,
and recalls that after seeing Nicole Kidman nude onstage, she
decided to go topless in "Swordfish." |
