Couples News: May-December
It's the sizzling trend that's quickly spreading through Hollywood -- older women who love their younger men.
Forty-one-year-old "Charlie's Angel"
co-star Demi Moore and 26-year-old Ashton
Kutcher are merely the most well-know, as they certainly
made a statement when they started dating. But 32-year-old "Angel"
Cameron Diaz and 23-year-old Justin
Timberlake quickly followed, jumping on the older woman/
younger man bandwagon. And more May-December romances are blossoming
all over tinseltown.
People magazine's Liz McNeil told us that Demi and Ashton's
romance is still hot and heavy. "She may be the one that
leads the way here to say an older woman can date a man of any
age," says McNeil. "With Demi, 40 is the new 30."
Madonna, who is 45 years old, told "Extra"
she found marriage material with Guy Ritchie,
who is 10 years her junior, revealing that,"We both have
the same values, and we're both really clear about what we want."
Next month, 36-year-old Mira Sorvino, who was
once linked to Hollywood heavy hitter Quentin Tarantino,
will say "I do" to 22-year-old actor Chris
Backus. And 36-year-old Josh Brolin brings out the
giddy girl in 39-year-old Diane Lane.
"Friends" superstar Courteney Cox Arquette,
40, found true love and finally a baby, with her younger husband
David Arquette, who is seven years younger.
"It's so wonderful when you find that person in your life
that makes you feel so part of something -- it's really beautiful,"
David told us.
"I think what this says is that women are really feeling
great about themselves," McNeil observes.
Indeed, it seems these sexy stars have discovered the true fountain of youth. And you can discover more about this romantic trend on Wednesday's edition of "Extra."
