Tinseltown is buzzing with rumors of engagements
and breakups. Now "Extra" sets the romantic record
straight -- read on to find out who's going further and who's
going their separate ways.
When NY Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer
picked Jessica Bowlin at the end of "The
Bachelor," he offered the 22-year-old law student a one-way
plane ticket to New York, asking her to follow her dreams with
him. But Jessica never used her one-way plane ticket and the
couple's love, professed on national TV just one month ago,
has apparently faded.
"We decided probably the end of last week that it wasn't
going to work out," Bowlin told "Extra.""Ultimately
timing played a big part in it. He lives 3,000 miles away and
he has a lot of stress in his career, as do I."
"Jessica and I shared an incredible romantic journey on the show that began with a friendship that remains strong today," Palmer told us. "We simply realize that individually, our next steps take us in different directions."
Bowlin added, "With too much distance and too little time, these were not ideal circumstances in which to start a relationship. Jesse is a great guy and has a wonderful family. Who knows what the future holds?"
Palmer said he will continue to focus on his football career and Bowlin is concentrating on finishing law school.

tour, but when asked at a press conference about a possible
trip down the aisle, Justin felt like he was in a jam, saying,
"There's a part of my life that I keep my life, probably
so I don't get into situations where I feel awkward, like right
now, where you just asked me something very personal."
Well, then what about Justin's ex -- is Britney Spears
going to the chapel again? According to the New York Post, Britney's
new beau, dancer Kevin Federline, popped the
question and Britney said yes. The pop princess, who cancelled
her world tour because of a knee injury, reportedly moved Kevin
into both her New York and Beverly Hills homes. Reps for the
singer say they have no idea whether or not she's engaged.
But we do know that hunky Lorenzo Lamas is engaged once again. The actor, who is still working through his divorce with Shauna Sands, has popped the big question to another former Playmate (who he met through Shauna), Barbara Moore.
