Faith Hill Catches Acting Bug
Her character in the upcoming movie isn't quite the most perfect of "The Stepford Wives," due to some wires gone awry, but gorgeous country singer Faith Hill gives a perfect performance in her first feature film.
We sat down with Faith, who returns to the
concert stage this summer after a four-year hiatus, and she
revealed that she's definitely been bitten by the acting bug:
"Towards the end of filming I was thinking, 'Man, I like
this.'"
So what was the most difficult thing about making the giant
leap to movie star? "Having to be on the set for 10 hours
and not work," the country music superstar replied. "That's
a little tough for me. I'm a doer, I have to have stuff going
on to keep me busy and occupied."
And when "The Stepford Wives" opens this Friday, you might just find the country superstar at the ticket window. "I want to see it with an audience," she insisted. "And I don't know how I'm going to do that. Do you sneak in?"
But while Hill is looking forward to seeing her new flick, she admitted how difficult it is for her to watch any of her singing performances. "I've never seen the National Anthem when I sang for the Super Bowl. I've never seen the Oscars when I performed," she admitted. "I’m just too critical."
Catch Faith Hill in her feature film debut when "The Stepford Wives" hits theatres on Friday.
