Rick For the Children

Ricky Martin may have taken a quick breather, but he's at it once again, starting with a new album. "It sounds great," Martin told us. "I think I've created a new sound, and I can't wait to be on stage and perform."

But when we sat down with the Latin rocker, he revealed that there's one thing his life is still missing. "I want 20 kids of my own," he insisted. "I want to walk into my house one day and hear, 'Daddy, daddy, daddy's home!'"

Martin admitted that he has no family plans as of yet with his longtime girlfriend Rebecca de Alba. Instead, the 32-year-old singer has taken it upon himself to protect other people's children. He recently rescued three girls off of the street in India, and he's starting an ad campaign against child trafficking for his People for Children Foundation, which offers assistance to victims and their families.

"We're still dealing with slavery, we're talking about slavery of a new era," he told us. "It's just wrong, it has to change. I'm going to use my music to create awareness, in any way, shape or form that I can." Martin's new tour kicks off early next year.
