'American Idol'
Kimberly Locke didn't see it coming. She says, "Last night I was thinking it could go either way, any one of us could have been gone last night. But it just so happened to be me."
But it was no surprise for the surly Simon. He says, "I predicted on ["Extra"] that Kimberly Locke would leave the show and I was right."
Now Simon, host Ryan Seacrest and cast-off Kimberly tell only "Extra" what you didn't see on the show.
Locke may have been emotional, but here's a first - so was Simon. He says, "I said, ‘Look, put it into perspective: 70,000 people and you were third. You're cute now, you've got a great voice, what are you worried about?’"
And Kimberly admits she's already making her next move. She says, "Clay and me are thinking about moving in together out here and being roommates."
Clay will have to battle Ruben for the title, but Simon has a surprise he revealed only "Extra." He says, "I can already hear their albums in my mind. They're very easy artists to work with. No problems."
So as Simon says he’ll work with both Ruben and Clay no matter who wins, our guy Ryan reveals the big "Idol" twist planned for Monday night's special show. He says, "Here's the scoop only for ‘Extra.’ On Monday night's show, we actually flip a coin to see who performs first!"
The "American Idol" showdown starts Monday night on FOX.
