The Next 'Bachelor'
ABC shocked the showbiz world Tuesday morning when the network revealed it's breakout star: Bob Guiney, from ABC's "Bachelorette," will be Bachelor number four.
He's the castoff that had Trista crying, Oprah laughing, and girls swooning when he did some reporting only for "Extra." Susan Lyne, president of ABC Entertainment says he was an obvious choice for the hit series. She says, "The idea of bringing in someone who has real personality, who is funny, who is charming, who is self-deprecating had appeal."
And it looks like Bob’s former crush, the Bachelorette Trista Rehn, is also returning to TV, this time to actually tie the knot!
But ABC is not relying only on reality for next year. This fall, ABC will be in the funny business with four new sitcoms, including "I'm with Her" starring "Meet the Parents’" Teri Polo. It comes from Brooke Shields’ hubbie, writer Chris Henchy, and it's based on their marriage.
Another standout, "Hope and Faith," is teaming Kelly Ripa with Faith Ford as dueling sisters.
You can watch all the new shows on ABC this fall.
