Billboard Latin Music Awards
It was hotter than usual Thursday as Latin beauty and bravado lit up the south Florida night. "Extra" was at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami where the stars are coming out wearing next to nothing.
On the red-hot red carpet, all eyes were fixed on co-hosts Carlos Ponce and Roselyn Sanchez. Also on hand were dimple-cheeked champ Oscar de la Hoya and pop idol Jon Secada.
Inside, Mexican superstar Thalia and Colombian crooner Juanes took home coveted prizes. But the crowd went absolutely loco for the man who always knows how to steal the show: Puerto Rico's finest export, Ricky Martin.
After three years living low key, Ricky serenaded the audience with a number from his new album and was presented with Telemundo television's Star Award.
On this night, no one could argue that anyone shone brighter.
