Ricky Martin
Ricky Martin is ready for the spotlight again. The 31-year old singer with the smooth voice and model good looks is releasing his first album in three years. The big surprise: it's very spiritual and it's in Spanish.
"Extra" sat down with Martin in Miami where he's promoting his soon to be released album "The Souls of Silence." He told "Extra" that he spent the past three years doing a lot of soul-searching and admits he was often "sad."
He traveled a lot to India and that is when he made a personal decision to make a spiritual album and to go back to his roots - singing in Spanish.
Ricky knows he's taking a chance. His fans, expecting another goodtime album, may be surprised by his new reflective sound.
For Martin the "loca" days are behind him and he hopes his fans will stay behind him as he grows as a person and an artist.
