Extra! Extra!
Forty-year news veteran Tom Brokaw broke his
own story Tuesday by announcing he'll stay on at "NBC
Nightly News" through the 2004 election. The 62-year-old
Brokaw will be replaced by rising cable news star Brian Williams,
who Brokaw personally recruited to the network. Brokaw will
continue at NBC, reporting for prime news specials after he
leaves the anchor chair
"Harry Potter" fans are finding the new DVD and video version of the blockbuster movie irresistible. Stores expect to sell 20 million copies of the video, which goes on sale today.
It was a holiday weekend at the maternity ward for Sylvester Stallone. He added to his platoon of girls as wife Jennifer Flavin gave birth to their third daughter, Scarlet Rose.
Mother and daughter are home now and reportedly doing "fantastic."
A new crime fighter is driving into theaters Friday. Originally brought to life as a cartoon on the Internet, standup comic Eddie Griffin leads the funk phenomenon in the new movie, "Undercover Brother." It enters the summer box office sweepstakes with a "steamy" shower scene starring Aunjanue Ellis and Denise Richards. |
