Divas Las Vegas

It was definitely ladies night at VH1's "Divas Las Vegas." Cher and Cindy Lauper teamed up while Celine Dion and Anastacia cranked up the AC/DC.

In addition to all the stars on stage, there were even more in the audience, including David Hasselhoff, Kelly Preston, and Jesse Jackson.

A sexy Shakira sang her hits, but she and other divas were totally unprepared for what came next. After months out of the limelight, Whitney Houston stunned the crowd with a surprise duet with Mary J. Blige. For worried fans who haven't seen her in a while, her appearance was reassuring, even to Celine Dion. She says, "I think she surprised everybody. I was surprised."

And while Whitney was in the house, so was Elvis. Okay really, the King was impersonated by Cher, who managed to sing her heart out even though she had a cold. She says, "I don't know if I was happy with the performance, but I was having a good time."

It was all for a good cause, the VH1 Save the Music Foundation to restore music education in schools. Stevie Nicks says the divas saved the day. She says, "Saving the music is really important. Music makes everybody feel better."
