Ellen DeGeneres on Tour
Ever since Ellen DeGeneres decided to go back
to work, her phone hasn't stopped ringing. Extra has more
on the projects that are keeping her so busy.
She's back, and ready to make us laugh. Ellen
DeGeneres has a hit comedy tour, a new talk show--she's even
hosting VH1's Divas Las Vegas on May 23!
On the road and in the middle of her critically acclaimed
24-city tour, Ellen revealed her true motivation for getting
back into stand-up: therapy! She confessed she's been considering
seeing a shrink, but then thought better of it. "I thought
wait a minute, why should I pay a stranger to listen to me
talk...when I can get strangers to pay to listen to me talk!"
Hollywood's funny girl is doing what she loves and there's
plenty yet to come! Her new talk show is in the works. Ellen
clued us in on the run-down: "I'm going to talk to hopefully
interesting people…and I'm sure I'll talk to some boring people
too, and when I talk to the boring people I'll make them more
interesting."
Just like on her comedy tour, Ellen's new resurgence into
entertainment is coming on strong, with a touch of flare and
in classic Ellen style: loud and clearly hilarious.
