Rosie Countdown
The Rosie O’Donnell countdown continues, and so do the heartfelt farewells from her famous and adoring friends like Cher, Elton John, Diane Sawyer, Susan Sarandon, and chef Emeril Lagasse. All this as the beloved clown princess of daytime TV gets ready to take her final bow on tomorrow's show.
Rosie says, “I put together a montage of my favorite moments from the show and we're going to have a surprise taped message from someone at the end.”
For once, wisecracking Rosie is lost for words when it comes to her professional future. She says, “It's the first time since I was 16 that I haven't had a plan."
After six years of magic moments, from those silly songs and cute kids to superstar guests from Cruise to Streisand, the multi-Emmy winner now has an open calendar for the first time. She says, “I'm going to take at least a year to figure out what I want to do next and we'll go from there."
Right now, Rosie's just excited about becoming a parent for the fourth time, thanks to pregnant partner Kelly Carpenter. Rosie says, “I'm thrilled to welcome babies any way they get to my family."
And that alone makes her future look rosier than ever.
