Tawney Kitaen Divorce
The battle between the pitcher and the rock model is spinning out of control. First, Tawny Kitaen was accused by her ex of abusing drugs. Now, the video vixen is hurling her own allegations at Cleveland pitcher Chuck Finley.
“Extra” has obtained a sworn statement signed by Ms. Kitaen, legally known as Julie Finley. In it, she blames the ballplayer for alienating the children from her, telling them "mommy had beat him up," and "mommy was in jail."
Matt Coker, managing editor of the Orange County Weekly,
says, “She's accused Finley of smoking pot, using steroids,
and getting around major league baseball drug testing."
Coker has studied the nasty details and bitter battle between this once local couple and has concerns for their two children. He says, “If they're both right, it sounds like the kids wouldn't be better with either of them."
Lynn Soodik represented Meg Ryan in her much friendlier divorce and says something needs to be done right now in this Finley feud. She says, “The judge is going to have to decide something soon because this isn't just permanent custody we're talking about.”
For now, the kids are with dad in Cleveland. Ms. Kitaen doesn't like that and these new court documents make it clear she may be down but she's not out. Coker says, “He threw the first pitch and he may have thought it was strike three. I think she's still in the game."
