Television Cliffhangers

Will Rachel have the baby? Is there an alien conspiracy? Who's going to die on "Felicity?" TV Guide editor Mark Schwed uncovers the secrets of the season finales that will have us on the edge of our seats.

“Friends” fans are warned not to "expect" a delivery in the mother of all finales. Schwed says, “There is only one thing that makes me not say that Rachel does have the baby and that is that NBC has kept the last 15 minutes under lock and key. They are not letting anyone see it and usually they do."

Keifer Sutherland's hit series "24" has an entire season taking place in one day and now it's the 60 minutes we've all been waiting for. “We're finally going to find out all of the answers to the assassination plot. For people watching it, you cannot miss this last hour!" Schwed says.

It's case closed as “The X-Files” wraps up nearly a decade, but not without revealing the truth. Schwed says, “Mulder comes back and they do promise to answer many, many of the questions that they have posed after a nine year run."

And “Ally McBeal” may trade in her short skirts for a wedding gown and rekindle a romance with an old flame. Schwed says, “A couple of old faves are coming back."

While "Felicity's" grand finale proves to be fatal. “On a really tragic note, someone will die."

“ER,” “CSI" and "The Practice" have murder mystery cliffhangers that will have you dying for fall.

From babies to bye byes, your favorite shows are signing off in style.
