Cheryl Tiegs
She made headlines when, at 53, she decided to have more children with the help of a surrogate. Now, two years later, Celebrity Justice has learned that Cheryl Tiegs' infant twins are at the center of an ugly battle between the beautiful supermodel and her fourth husband Rod Stryker.
Life sure has changed since we first sat down with Cheryl in 2000. “Extra” has the court papers that reveal the cover girl may be afraid she's going to lose her babies and the divorce battle appears to be getting physical.
In the court papers, Mr. Stryker, through his attorney, claims his famous wife hired a bodyguard to keep him away from his kids, despite a court ordered shared custody arrangement. At one point, the yoga instructor claims the bouncer quote "threatened and made physical contact" with him. Stryker called the cops.
And if the couple isn't fighting about the kids, it's cash. In a sworn statement obtained by “Extra” and signed by Ms. Tiegs, Cheryl demands that her ex pay child support and attorneys fees, even though she reportedly makes $500,000 a year, nearly ten times what he earns.
Stryker's expert estimates Tiegs is worth about 10 million dollars. But in the papers, Tiegs claims her modeling gigs are "few and far between" and that she earns "far less than [Stryker] would like to believe." She also accuses Stryker of using her luxurious Bel Air home and her money as a "springboard" to promote his career.
Cheryl once beamed about their relationship while showing off her line of wigs. But sadly, that relationship has unraveled. Later this month, the woman who set the standard for beauty will appear on a different kind of stage: a courtroom.
