Antonio Sabato Jr.
He's the body that sold millions of Calvins. Antonio Sabato Jr. may be famous for his looks, but he'd risk it all for racing. He says, “There's something really beautiful about racing. My dream life is to race this red car here all day long as many laps as I can.”
It's more than a dream, it's an obsession, and a dangerous one at that. We geared up to help fulfill his dream at the Kart Racing Company race school outside Los Angeles. With speeds up to 160 miles per hour, the $50,000 formula one car is 900 pounds of pure racing power.
Antonio, who has already raced in dozens of competitions across the globe, says he inherited this risky passion from his father.
Antonio has no plans to quit his day job, making movies. That is good because just renting the track can cost a$1,000 a day! The way he looks at it, every lap in a racecar is one less session on a couch. He says, “A therapist is excellent, but my therapist is the car.”
