How to Make the Summer Sizzle
If you think summer is hot, take a look you see the must-have looks put together for "Extra" by stylist Jill Swid.
Poolside at the Parker Meridien hotel in Manhattan, our model showed off the ultimate swimsuit for the season -- a turquoise halter-top bikini from Eres, set off with two black rings. This sexy swimsuit also comes in a dozen other colors. "The fit is impeccable," Jill told us. "It's so comfortable, yet revealing enough to be enticing."
For business, a belted chiffon Prada dress will help you seal the deal in unbeatable style. "It just works from day to evening," Jill said. "You can wear it to the office and then throw a little clutch bag on and just go to a cocktail party."
We teamed the madras dress with a Tod's bag in ivory and two-tone heels from Christian Louboutin "the heels to own," according to Jill.
And when romance in the menu during a dinner date, Jill advised us that there is one primo rule: "It's all about the top." In this case, a jersey from Design By Chloe In Gloss, matched with white classic-cut Chloe jeans, and open-toe Manolo Blahniks. "It's cool and sexy and sophisticated, with a little edge," Jill said.
So now, come summer, the beach isn't the only thing that'll be hot.
