She Can Sing, Too
From the red carpet in Cannes to Hollywood, this
femme fatale is one of the most glamorous women in the world.
But now Sharon Stone is singing a different tune.
Although Sharon insisted, "I can't sing
at all, it's the most pathetic thing, if I sing I'll scare you,"
that didn't stop her from taking the stage with Sheryl Crow
at the Amfar Cinema Against AIDS event in Cannes, where even
Liza Minnelli took the microphone.
And Sharon's life is about to become a cabaret, as she launches
a new career as a song writer. "I've composed songs,"
she revealed. "I've worked for a studio."
And get ready to hear Stone's most intimate secrets -- the star
revealed to us her musical motives: "(My songs) are about
everything: family, romance, broken dreams, about being a good
parent, some of my political beliefs, they're about all kinds
of different things."
"Extra" got a front row seat as Sharon's songs were
performed by The Hells Kitchenette Band at the Pig n' Whistle
in Hollywood, where Sharon's older brother, Michael, told us
he's her biggest fan. "It doesn't surprise me in the least
that it's working," he said.
"I'm loving it and enjoying it and learning so much,"
Stone added. |
