Making a 'Blue' Movie
"Extra" went on location in the Bahamas for the filming of "Into the Blue," the new underwater thriller about a couple of vacation divers who discover a lost treasure and a sunken plane filled with cocaine. And if that doesn't sound good enough, just add stripped down siren Jessica Alba, and buffed-up boys Paul Walker and Tyson Beckford to the mix.
But Alba admitted to us, "I was a little terrified at first. We're sitting there with 30 sharks that are in the wild swimming with no chain, no wet suits, just our bathing suits."
Hottie Paul Walker agreed: "When I find myself treading water on the surface and they're throwing in fish heads to keep the sharks nearby. It makes me nervous."
For Josh Brolin, who plays a treasure hunter, the toughest part about the three-month shoot was being apart from his fiancée, Diane Lane, who sometimes flew in for a visit. "Just to have her down here and to have my family down here was an incredible thing," he told us.
And while Paul and Jessica had incredible chemistry together onscreen, the "Dark Angel" star confessed her real reason for taking on the role: "Paul Walker's cute and everything, but it was really about swimming with sharks, and eagle rays and diving and stuff."
And you'll be able to dive down "Into the Blue" early next year.
