Kate Makes It A Family Affair
Soon she'll be "Raising Helen" on the
big screen, and she's already raising a brand new baby at
home. Now, Kate Hudson is sharing her family album with the
world in the new issue of Vogue, from strolling with hubby
Chris Robinson (of the Black Crowes) to posing with their
new son.
And little Ryder-Russell's uncle, Oliver Hudson, is still beaming about Kate's 4-month-old son. "All you have to say is 'uncle' and here comes a smile," Oliver told us. "He's great."
And "great" definitely describes Hudson's new role as mom. "She's a tough broad, that girl," Oliver revealed. Kate recently told us about dropping more than 75 pounds of baby weight. "I worked out two to three hours a day," she told us. "It was really hard."
But Hudson's hard work shows in the new issue of Vogue, and the magazine's Sally Singer got a glimpse of the private Kate, who like her own mother, Goldie Hawn, is putting family first.
"Kate is a very, very hands-on mother," Singer revealed. "She breast feeds him, and she's a complete earth mother with that child."
