Star Sightings: International
Brad Pitt kept an anxious crowd waiting in Tokyo this weekend. The "Troy" warrior was fighting the flu, but he finally showed, with no Jen in sight, saying all those brutal battle scenes and the worldwide PR tour have him worn him out: "Grueling is relative. For actors that are catered to, it's grueling."
The "Shrek 2" cast partied into the
night at a centuries old castle in the South of France this
weekend. But before the party, Cameron Diaz,
Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers
hosted the movie's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where
Diaz revealed, "We got a standing ovation to the end of
the credits!"
The only snag in the evening was a luggage mix-up that almost
left Jack Black with his pants down. "'We
found your tux, it was in Orlando Bloom's room.' I said, ‘Thank
you, where are the pants?' Apparently Orlando stole the pants."
In Rome, Angelina Jolie was joined by Oprah
Winfrey on Sunday for the "We Are the Future"
Concert put on by Quincy Jones. Alicia
Keyes and Carlos Santana were among
the performers, and all proceeds went to child care centers
in war-torn countries.
And Hollywood was smoking Sunday as Arnold Schwarzenegger
and Keanu Reeves were joined by a who's who
of Hollywood at the 4th Annual Taurus World Stunt Awards.
The show, hosted by Carmen Electra and Dennis
Hopper, honored Keanu Reeves with the Honorary Award
for Best Action Star. Reeves said after accepting his award,
"I've never done a stunt in my life." |
