Ellen's Dancing Revival
From Katie Couric and Jim Carrey to Janet Jackson and Hugh Jackman, and even Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Sharon Stone and Ben Affleck -- it's a celebrity dancing parade on the set of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
We caught up with the dancing DeGeneres at the Creative Arts Emmys to get the meaning behind those Emmy-nominated moves. "I like music and I was kind of joking around when I was walking from the monologue mark to sitting down and I just decided to dance a little bit," she revealed. "Then it just got out of hand, and now the whole audience stands up and starts dancing. I can't stop."
So who does the hilarious host think is the best dancer she's had on the show? "Well Usher, he's a pretty good dancer, and Justin Timberlake is a pretty good dancer," she revealed.
"And that La Toya London who was just voted off of ‘American Idol' came on and did the booty slap which I appreciated because I tried to make that popular when I hosted the Grammys and it really didn't catch on the way I'd hoped," DeGeneres added. "So hopefully since La Toya did it, and I know she's got a lot of pull with the young kids, maybe the booty slap will come back."
Booty slap or not, it takes two to tango and the stars are happy to hold court with TV's newest dancing queen.
