Scene in Cannes: Brad and Jen's Second
Honeymoon
The French gave Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston
a warm welcome, as Hollywood's royal couple ascended
the steps of the Palais at the Cannes Film Festival. The sexy
pair was joined by the entire cast of "Troy," as
well as Kate Bosworth, who was there supporting her boyfriend,
Orlando Bloom.
The cast had another reason to celebrate --
it was Pitt's first trip to Cannes. "I'd never been
here, so I was excited to check it out," Brad admitted.
Pitt's been on a hectic work schedule, both promoting "Troy"
and working on the sequel to "Ocean's 11" in Amsterdam,
but he told us, "I figure I'll rest in the fall."
Brad made his first much-anticipated appearance in Cannes, facing
the international press like a true warrior. One Greek reporter
caught him off guard, asking him to rate his wife Jennifer,
who is of Greek descent.
A quick-witted Pitt responded, "You want me to say Greek
women are better than other women? Very dangerous -- good at
home, bad out here."
But Brad did share a secret -- Jen loved his look as Achilles:
"I will tell you this, my wife liked the costume,"
he revealed. "My Greek woman wanted to bring it home. I
don't know why."
So, will the hot pair party into the night in Cannes? Not likely.
"I've got to buzz out early," Pitt told us. "I
have to be on the set of 'Ocean's 12' at 7 a.m.
tomorrow."
But some stars did manage to stay and play. We found Jennifer
at the beach, relaxing with Justin Timberlake and Jack Black.
