Star Sightings: Where the Girls Are
The stars are shining all around the world and
"Extra" was there to bring you the details.
Has Jennifer Lopez finally found the
perfect leading man? Well, maybe on screen, where she's teaming
up with "Alias" star Michael Vartan. The two were spotted
Monday on the set of their new movie "Monster-in-Law."
Jennifer plays a woman set to marry the perfect guy, played
by Michael (typecasting, anyone?), until she meets the world's
worst mother-in-law, played by Jane Fonda. This is Jane's
first movie in more than a decade.
Also Monday, Beyoncé strutted her stuff on the
set of "The Pink Panther," in New York. The sultry singer/actress
was being tailed by Inspector Clouseau, played by Steve Martin.
Beyoncé plays an international pop music sensation/ murder
suspect. "I get to sing and dance," Beyoncé told us.
"We have a lot of fun."
Meanwhile, across the pond in Amsterdam, Catherine Zeta-Jones
is also doing some crime caper work, and "Extra" caught a first
look as she arrived to begin work on "Ocean's 12." The sequel
to "Ocean's 11" puts George, Brad and the gang back together,
and brings in Catherine to spice things up. Look for "Ocean's
12" to break this December.
And finally, rebel rocker Courtney Love was recently
ordained by the Universal Life Church, and she put the title
to good use Saturday, marrying 21 couples at a ceremony in Lake
Tahoe. The couples all won the chance to have Love tie their
knots in radio contests held across the country.
