Sue Survives Her Make-over With Stunning Results
If big Tom biting the "Survivor" dust,
Thursday night, wasn't shocking enough, this definitely is.
It's "Survivor" Sue Hawk's "Extra" extreme
makeover -- Part Two -- and now it's time to put the results
to the mirror-test.
In our last installment, we treated Hawk
to several plastic surgeries, and then only "Extra"
was there as Sue chronicled her painful recovery from home
in her video diary. But if Susan thought
recovery was hard, this truck driver from Wisconsin had no
idea what she was about to step into.
Hawk went from the wild of the South Pacific
to the famous Louis Licari Salon in Beverly Hills, where she
met fashion guy Laurence Zarien and celebrity colorist Louis
Licari. But there was a little problem: Sue revealed that
she hates getting her hair done, saying, "I had it colored
five years ago and it really burned." But a girl's gotta
do what a girl's gotta do in the name of beauty. Hawk also
confided that waiting days to shower on "Survivor 1"
really ruined her locks: "I think I waited until about
day 30."
Then, when it finally came time for some shoe shopping, Sue,
who constantly wears hunting boots, may have got more than
she bargained for as she fumbled with the fancy footwear.
Then it was three more hours of shopping
-- this time for designer duds at Macy's in Sherman Oaks,
California -- before Gregory finally applied makeup and Mela
added hair extensions.
And after hours of scrubbing, coloring and dressing, this
former trucker's new look was almost complete. Her before
and after pictures left Susan almost speechless. And as she
looked in the mirror with wider eyes, a brighter face, bigger
breasts, and tighter legs and waist, Hawk claimed, "I
see a woman that is 20 years younger than she was a month
ago. This is awesome, I look like a girl!"
Looks like it was an "Extra" extreme makeover dream
come true.
