'Friends' Hits The Goodbye Trail

Imagine losing six best friends all at the same time -- well, that’s exactly what will happen to America on Thursday, as our all-time favorite "Friends" pack up their bags and drive off into the TV sunset.

This week is the farewell tour for the "Friends," which will include an appearance on the "Today Show," a charity event for Target, and even a "Dateline" special on Wednesday night.

"Now of course, I'm just terrified, I don't want it to end at all," Jennifer Aniston admits to Matt and Katie on Dateline.

But the "Friends," who are as close onscreen as off, aren’t worried about losing touch. Courtney Cox Arquette insists, "I know I'll see the girls. The boys seem to travel a lot, but we’ll hang out because we live pretty close."

So many fans are expected to tune in for Thursday's 2-hour special that 30-second ads are selling for $2 million, but Lisa Kudrow admits she had some questions about the cast in the beginning. "For me, the biggest shock was Chandler, Matthew Perry doing Chandler," she reveals. "I read the script and thought Chandler was the gay character on the show."

The end is near, and you can be part of the magic Thursday night on NBC.
